The grandiose scenery of Snowdonia and the North West Wales coastline,coupled with the moody ever changing weather urge me to paint outside. I like to experience the elements and movement in the landscape. The final piece is woven from memory of the light and feel of the place

I am inspired by the ruins left behind following The Industrial Revolution, against a backdrop of majestic mountains and quarry terraces. These artefacts of industry create a melancholic feeling,highlighting the transient existence of humankind.
