Box Boat

Memories of childhood have inspired me to create drawings and paintings of children. Some of these memories include ,playing with my younger sister Glenda. We were tomboys, climbing trees and skimming stones. One time we found a huge old cardboard box, the box  became a boat, a spaceship and even a cave. The box even though it was our favourite new toy was left out in the rain and had to be thrown away. The drawing below is of two boys imagining that they are in a boat on the sea, in a storm . The drawing will be exhibited at "Figuratuvely Speaking" exhibittion from 23/06,23at The Yellow Gallery -Life Full Colour in Hole in The Wall Street, Caernarfon.Cardboard boat - Copy-2jpg
